My name is Bennett Kayser. I am running for school board because it's time we had a teacher in a position to shape the policies that affect our lives and our children's future. We all want the best for our children. But wishful thinking and political slogans won't do the job. It takes the experience and know-how of someone who has been in the classroom insisting on educational excellence. As a retired school teacher who taught at Irving Middle School, I know what needs to be done.
The politicians and downtown bureaucrats have had their chance and they have failed. Our kids only get one chance at a good education.
